​John has been professionally engaged as a Realtor since 1999, during which he has also been a real estate consultant to HGTV’s Property Virgins TV Show (for six seasons), a sales manager at one of the city’s largest real estate brokerages, and a real estate entrepreneur.   His primary passion is directly providing his  loyal clientele "next-level" real estate experiences that revolve around a "client-first" mantra.

Always evolving,  finding creative solutions, and drawing on his vast experience to ensure his clients capitalize on real estate opportunities, John  has earned a solid reputation as a "Go-to" professional within the real estate industry.  He has  been a guest speaker at professional conferences, has appeared on CBC News, and has been quoted in the National Post regarding the real estate market. 

A consistent award-winning agent, he was a principal partner in a real estate team that finished in the Top Ten nationally for multiple years  (with Coldwell Banker Canada), is a founding member of 4one6 (a Re/Max Chairman's Club Award winning team focusing on urban living), and the principal agent for John Lagakos Real Estate.

John has been in the real estate industry most of his adult life.  He started his first business at age 18, and went on to open a couple more all while he attended the  University of Toronto (for Urban and Economic Geography).  However, after buying his first property at age 22,  he caught the "real estate bug" and changed course to become a Realtor.  He has been consumed by all things real estate ever since. 

John resides with his wife , three children and dog in the city of  Toronto, Canada.
